Emily Golden

Mrs. Golden is a life-long resident of Wisconsin.  She grew up on a dairy farm in small-town Belgium, Wisconsin, listening to country music, milking cows, and working in the fields. The best part of growing up was watching the beautiful sunrises as she brought the cows in to be milked, the worst part was picking rocks.

She left the country for the Big City of Milwaukee as a college student at UWM where she majored in history. The best day of her life was when she trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a young college student, followed by the other best days of marrying the love of her life and the birth of her two children.

Mrs. Golden worked as a freelance writer while staying home with her children when they were young. Once her kids went to school full time, she went back to school as well and added on to her degree to become a teacher.  She has taught in Cudahy and Milwaukee since 2011.

Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, creating art, and making people laugh!
