Marissa Koval

Ms. Koval is a 2010 graduate of Indiana University, earning a degree in Social Studies Secondary Education. She began her career in education in 2011 working as a middle school teaching assistant at “The Project School,” an urban public charter school in Bloomington, Indiana. In 2012, she moved to Wisconsin and worked in special education in Elmbrook Schools and at Greenfield High School through 2015. From 2015-2019, Ms. Koval spent time at home taking care of her son and other families’ young children. When her son was old enough to attend school, she joined the Aug Prep family.

Ms. Koval’s favorite subject is social studies, and she gained an interest and appreciation for science during the 2020-2021 school year when given the opportunity to teach science lessons in her first grade classroom. She looks forward to a wonderful school year with our young scholars!
