Esmeralda Rocha

Ms. Rocha, a South Side native, was born to Mexican immigrants. Aware of the language barriers and financial challenges her family faced, she focused her career on bridging communication between cultures and advocating for those in need, specifically the Spanish speaking community.

She began her career as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant in healthcare for 10 years while continuing her education in Business Administration at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She also went on to earn a certificate in interpreting services at Springfield College.

Her dedication to excellence gained her a managing position as a Bilingual Administrative Professional; simultaneously, she established and led the Spanish speaking team and naturally became an educator, guide and support to internal and external clients. Proudly, she assisted individuals and families with medical conditions obtain the medical equipment and services they needed.

In early 2017, Ms. Rocha began her journey at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant. Her belief that every child deserves access to a Christian driven, high-quality education school led her to serve as an Enrollment Coordinator where she assisted with recruitment and admissions.

In addition, she led the production team for the past two high school theatrical plays and worked closely with students in developing their marketing, event planning and promoting skills during a 6 month long after-school enrichment program. She also coached Girls on the Run for 3rd - 5th-grade girls. 

Ms. Rocha joined the Family and Community Engagement Department in 2019. Her responsibilities include recruitment, community building and family resources. In Jully 2023, she accepted the position of Recruitment Manager. She will be working on promoting Aug Prep to partner schools and interested families. She is grateful and excited to be able to continue to serve the Aug Prep community.
