Alejandra Hernandez
Ms. Hernández was born and raised in the southside of Chicago. Although her roots began there, she has a lot of love for Milwaukee. Her hobbies include playing golf and going on bike rides when the weather permits. She also loves to drink coffee, paint, and watch mystery and comedy shows. But, her all time favorite hobby is traveling!
Her love for teaching began at a very young age and she realized that she wanted to be a teacher while volunteering at her catechism program at her local church. After this, faith was a big part of her educational upbringing. She attended faith based schools for high school and college. Ms. Hernández’s mission is to educate the young youth in Milwaukee. With Christ’s love and guidance, anything is possible!
She graduated from Marquette University which is what led her to Milwaukee. She received her degree in Middle/Secondary Education and Spanish Language, Literature and Culture. She also studied abroad for 6 months during college in Madrid, Spain. It was a wonderful experience where she learned about the Spanish roots and culture. Ms. Hernández taught middle school Spanish for a year before coming to Aug Prep and is very excited to be a part of the team!
