Hannah Ruehrdanz
Hello! I am so excited to be teaching A.P. Spanish Language and Culture here at Aug Prep! Teaching Spanish was what I studied in college; I graduated from Martin Luther College (way up north in New Ulm, MN) in 2020. Since then, I have been working on my master's in Spanish Literature through a four-year summer-only program at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT. I have experience teaching ESL in Lima, Peru, teaching A.P. Literature & Composition, British Literature, and Speech & Composition, and working with a community action agency to help connect recently immigrated families with resources in Manitowoc, WI.
I've gotten to spend a lot of time around God's word in my schooling, my summer job as a camp counselor, and the faith community that I have been surrounded with, and Aug Prep is no exception.
Teaching brings me a great deal of joy. I am humbled to know our great God would use me to serve students in their education, and that he would give opportunities for us to grow together, for the kids to shine, and for me to get to learn so much from them, too.
