Julianne Caison

Julie Casion joined the math department of Aug Prep in the fall of 2024. She grew up in Montrose, Michigan as one of 5 siblings. She graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin with a double major in Mathematics and Theater Education. She started teaching right away and has taught various levels of mathematics and has also directed many theater productions. She started teaching in Michigan and then moved to the Chicago area.

She taught there for 11 years before moving to California to teach at Modesto Christian School where she taught high school math courses. She was also the mathematics department chair, a mentor teacher, the performing arts director, and the varsity softball coach. Julie was married in 2003 to her husband, Michael Casion, who is also at Aug Prep in the Bible department. They have three boys with one in college at GCU in Phoenix, and two attending
Aug Prep as students. Julie's favorite things to do are to spend time with her family and watch the Cubs play.

Julie is excited about being a member of the Aug Prep community. She loves teaching math as it shows order and absolute truth in a world that God created. She is excited to get to know the students, connect with them, and guide them toward understanding the concepts in class as well as building a personal relationship with Christ.
