Michael Casion
Michael Casion received his BA in church ministries from Maranatha Baptist University. He
spent his early years of ministry in Des Plaines, Illinois filling the roles of youth pastor, Christian
school administrator, Bible teacher, and choir director.

After 11 years in Des Plaines, Illinois Michael made the move to Modesto, California to teach at
Modesto Christian Schools Inc. where he served as the campus pastor, ASB advisor, and
worship leader for several years. After covid, Michael transitioned to teaching Bible full time for
middle and high school.
While teaching in Modesto, Michael was also active in his local church as both an elder, and the
worship leader.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys hanging with his family and playing video games with his sons.
He also enjoys watching TV, Broadway musicals, and singing in the car with his wife, Julie.
Michael is looking forward to being at Aug Prep, as he has heard nothing but the best about it
for several years from his brother-in-law who also teaches here. He is eager to continue
impacting the next generation for Jesus Christ at Aug Prep.
