Kristy Kaat
I was born in Racine, WI. My father was and engineer and my mother was a teacher who worked with students who had hearing impairments. I moved to Milwaukee to attend the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice fully intending to be an attorney. God works I'm mysterious ways and my path led to me going back to school and getting certified to work with students with disabilities grades 6-12. My educational journey was not yet complete. I went back to school for my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction where I graduated with honors. I absolutely love teaching and working with students. I have been in the field for 23 years in many different environments. I am excited to be working for St. Augustine Prep! I look forward to a great year ahead.
