Takisha Moncrief
Takisha Moncrief has served children, teachers, parents and communities for over 25 years. Throughout her career she has taught elementary students, coached teachers, led curriculum development teams, directed school improvement efforts, and coordinated district-wide professional learning. Prior to Aug Prep, Dr. Moncrief promoted education as the great equalizer offering literacy and leadership solutions as an independent consultant and instructional coach.
Dr. Moncrief has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned her doctorate from Dallas Baptist University, developing further as a Christ-centered servant leader.
She studied internationally in Ghana and in England and has impacted students across Wisconsin, Arkansas, Texas, and New York. However, for Takisha, Milwaukee is home.
As CAO of Aug Prep, Dr. Moncrief is responsible for core instructional programming, working with leaders and instructional staff to ensure Aug Prep students are growing academically, and fosters a mindset of continuous learning and professional development.
