Tina Way
Mrs. Way grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and truly misses living near the Atlantic Ocean. She has lived in several other states, but her family, which includes her husband and three children, have called Wisconsin home since 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with certification in English as a Second Language. She has spent her teaching career in Milwaukee, Waukesha and Wauwatosa and is excited to be joining the Aug Prep Team! She especially looks forward to cultivating and sustaining relationships with her students and their families. Mrs. Way considers herself a lifelong learner and feels that her most important job is to instill a love for learning in her students. She is an avid reader who enjoys cooking and traveling to new (and familiar) places. As a lover of the outdoors and nature, she became a beekeeper and continues to grow her knowledge of how to best tend the remarkable honeybees in her apiary. She is currently learning about creating a "hentopia" for her hopefully not too distant future chickens.
