Russell Fung
Russell Fung has lived, studied, and worked on three different continents. He was born and raised in Hong Kong where he discovered his love for mathematics, and experienced his first miracle. To escape communist China he moved with his family to Australia, and studied mathematics and physics in college. Further graduate studies and academic pursuit brought Russell back to Hong Kong and then to Milwaukee where he got a doctorate in theoretical and computational physics.
After a fulfilling career in biophysics, training junior scientists and publishing articles in top scientific and medical journals, Dr Fung recently retired from academia to pursue a second career in teaching, to share his love for science and mathematics with a new generation of scientists and engineers.
