Josie Lunar Crumble
Mrs. Lunar Crumble is a highly experienced educator with over 16 years of experience in urban education. She has held a number of roles and specializations, including teaching at the elementary and middle school levels, as well as in ESL/Dual Language education.
She obtained her degree in Community Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, becoming the first member of her family to attain a college degree. She subsequently pursued further studies, obtaining a 1st-8th Grade Educator License and a Master of Education from Alverno College. Her enthusiasm for bilingualism then led her to pursue a Bilingual and ESL Education License at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Lunar Crumble believes in a collaborative approach to teaching, which entails the establishment of authentic connections with families and students. She finds it rewarding to provide guidance to students as they progress through their learning journey, supporting them in reaching their full potential as scholars and fulfilling their God-given purpose in life, a process aligned with the Bible scripture in Jeremiah 29:11, which state: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
