Matthew Koester
Mr. Matt Koester received a degree in theater from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and spent time acting in both Chicago, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles.
While in Los Angeles, Mr. Koester enjoyed working with the Los Angeles Repertory Theater, creating and performing original drama pieces for at-risk high school students. It was there that Mr. Koester developed his passion for teaching and encouraging young men and women. God eventually called him to teach 2nd grade at a Christian school serving children on Milwaukee’s north side. He taught 2nd grade for two years and then transitioned to 3rd grade for the last three years. During that time, he returned to school to pursue a teaching license. He received his teaching certificate from the University of Concordia-Mequon in 2019.
Mr. Koester joined the Aug Prep family in June 2019. He uses his skills to encourage, equip, and teach young men and women about the love of Jesus.
