Alberto Centeno

Alberto Centeno was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Alberto attended Elk Grove high school in Elk Grove Village, IL and would leave his home to attend college. He went to Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota where he received his bachelor’s in Spanish education. 

He taught in Minnesota for 2 years as an ESL teacher at the Lewiston-Altura school district. He helped students from K-12 learn English and also helped them and their families assimilate to the community. While teaching, Alberto was the goalkeeper coach for the Winona Senior high school boys soccer team and also for the Saint Mary’s University men’s soccer team.

Alberto enjoys playing soccer and has played in high school, college, and at the semi pro level. Also, he enjoys playing baseball and staying fit. When he is not being active, he enjoys playing guitar and listening to music. 

Alberto is excited to be part of the Aug prep family and to help students find their own version of success and reach their full potential.
