Austin Ramirez is CEO of Husco, a privately held engineering and manufacturing company. During his ten-year tenure as CEO the company has tripled in size, and was recently recognized as Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year.

Milwaukee, November 15, 2022 – St. Augustine Preparatory Academy (Aug Prep), a high-performing K4-12 non-denominational Christian school located in Milwaukee’s south side, again achieved a five-star rating, the highest possible, on the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) report card. A five-star rating indicates the school significantly exceeds academic expectations. Aug Prep achieved this rating for the second year in a row. The report card also noted that Aug Prep is the top K-12 school in the state and the highest rated high school in Milwaukee.

This time of year, the results of various state and federal tests get announced. They all are looking at how third through eighth grade students are doing compared to what is expected at their grade level.

Gus Ramirez, Founder and Chairman of Husco International, Inc. and St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, was inducted into the 2022 Georgia Tech College of Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame on April 23rd.

 

Ramirez, who received a Bachelor’s (1968) and a Master’s (1969) degree in Aerospace Engineering, thanked Georgia Tech for launching him “through the Aerospace Department and to a career that has been far more successful than ever expected.”

 

Inductees to the Georgia Tech College of Engineering Hall of Fame are recognized for reaching the highest levels of achievement in their professional endeavors as well as their commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.
